Day 17 : Glamoire

These people that have half of my brain got me and they are ordering my execution.

You don’t pop out in the middle of nowhere wearing a shirt with Mario on it and jeans in 1465 at the center of London. That’s the lesson I had leaned as I’m about to be publicly executed.

My machine broke up and I was defenseless.. people saw me and cried “he is a demon ! He is possessed ! He is a witch”. Some stopped to seize me more, some straight up yelled and ran for their lives. Their reaction was so hilarious that it made me fall in the ground laughing. I guess that’s when they thought I let my guard down and that’s how they caught me.

I never thought I would get this much spotlight. Public executions are like that, very crowded and loud. For once I felt.. famous. If I knew that this could blow my ego through the roof, I’d have gone back to the time and redo my execution as much as I want.

They make public executions.. well, public, because they want to deter people from doing that. And I get it, I’d deter anyone from making a machine that warps space-time continuum and makes it so you become an intruder in another instance of history.

They will hang me. I would have loved if they did the guillotine thingy instead, quick and thorough, much like my house maid if you know what I mean.

I should get a more special treatment, after all I’m a guest. I would love it if they gave me a last meal, at least I would die not feeling this famished.

The big dude with the black cloth on his head, whom I can assume with great certainty that he is my executioner, put the noose around my neck. Lovely necklace for a lovely trip to the other side, huh ?

Even in these tough times, I kept deflecting. I kept making self deprecating jokes and puns. I kinda accepted my fate, but part of me is still attached to this world.

Silence reigned as the executioner was given the signal to pull the lever. I only felt serenity just now. This is the best way to atone for my sins after all.

As he pulled the lever, I fell and the noose tightened around my neck as I grasped for air, agonizingly..

It will end in a few moments, just be patient..

Next thing I knew, I woke up in a white void.
